When Central Elementary needs help with technology or insights for how to best prepare a class for state reading testing often, we head to room 5 to ask Melissa Coles. 
Melissa has a great attitude and doesn’t complain even when she is justified.  The 2nd grade level loves working with her, and she is a great team player with the entire school.  She has the most well-behaved class pet (Hazel) and always has innovative ideas. 
Melissa doesn’t always get the recognition she deserves so we are glad to have her as our Teacher of the Month for September 2024.
